Jayhawks Continue Strong Weekend, Reeve Highlights Women’s Performances
The Muskegon Community College Jayhawks continued an impressive and action-packed weekend with strong performances across the board, highlighted by standout efforts on the women’s side.
Maya Reeve led the way for the Lady Jayhawks, currently sitting No. 13 nationally among throwers. Her performance added to an already impressive resume as a multiple school record holder and key contributor for the program.
In distance events, the Lady Jayhawks also saw tremendous success on a star-studded stage, as a standout performer secured national qualifying marks in the 5000m, 1500m, and 800m, continuing to build momentum heading into championship season.
As a team, the Jayhawks recorded 23 personal-best performances over the weekend, showcasing depth, growth, and early-season form. With these results, Muskegon is on pace to make a push for its largest national championship qualifying group in program history.
The Jayhawks will look to carry that momentum into their next meet as they return to action this week at Grand Valley State University for the Early Meet.
