MCCAA North Player of the Week: Week 19
Week 19 MCCAA North Player of the Week is Kamrin Ward.
The MCCAA is proud to recognize Kamrin Ward as this week's North Player of the Week following another strong stretch of performances for the Jayhawks.
A freshman forward from Muskegon, Michigan, Ward continues to be a steady and impactful presence in the paint. Her physicality, motor, and commitment on both ends of the floor have played a key role in the Jayhawks' recent success.
Ward's production places her among the conference's elite, as she currently ranks 7th in the conference in scoring and 3rd in the conference in rebounding. Her ability to consistently finish around the basket while controlling the glass has made her a matchup challenge night in and night out.
Beyond the stat sheet, Ward brings energy, effort, and a team-first mentality every time she steps on the court. Her work ethic and consistency exemplify what it means to be a Jayhawk and continue to set the tone for the program.
