Jayhawks Earn Multiple MCCAA & Region XII Postseason Honors
MUSKEGON, MI – Several members of the Muskegon Community College men’s basketball team were recognized for their outstanding performances during the 2025–26 season, earning multiple honors in the MCCAA and NJCAA Region XII postseason awards.
Freshman standout Darryl Thompkins led the way for the Jayhawks with an impressive list of accolades. Thompkins was named to the NJCAA Region XII Division II All-Region Team, All-MCCAA Team, and earned First Team All–Northern Conference honors. In addition, his strong debut season earned him a spot on the All-Freshman Team, highlighting his immediate impact for Muskegon. Thompkins consistently delivered throughout the season and emerged as one of the top young players in the conference.
Sophomore Ny'Zhem Marshall also received significant recognition for his contributions. Marshall was named Second Team All–Northern Conference and earned a spot on the All-Defensive Team, showcasing his ability to lock down opponents and make key defensive plays throughout the season.
The Jayhawks also had two players recognized with Honorable Mention honors in the Northern Conference. Lamarkis Graham and David Cross were both acknowledged for their efforts and contributions during the season, helping Muskegon remain competitive throughout conference play.
With multiple players receiving postseason recognition, the Jayhawks continue to demonstrate the strength and depth of the Muskegon program. The honors reflect the hard work, development, and commitment shown by the team throughout the 2025–26 campaign and highlight the impact Muskegon players are making across the MCCAA and Region XII.
